On the Day of Children's Protection on June 1, 2022, the UNICEF Ukraine team prepared programs for children on security issues during the war, in particular, a mine safety lesson will be held.
Russian occupiers have mined and continue to mine the territory of Ukraine, among the mined objects are even children's toys, bicycles and other objects of interest to children. Therefore, the problem of mine safety is very relevant today in Ukraine.
All-Ukrainian online lessons on mine safety will be interactive. More precisely, these are two lessons designed for children of different ages. They contain important knowledge, tasks for the development of vital skills for children in wartime. There will also be the inclusion of a SES officer, with well-thought-out surprises for children from UNICEF.
Ukrainian family psychologist Svitlana Roiz, who has been working with UNICEF for a long time, wrote on her page "I read all the materials for lessons, they are practical, and this knowledge is important - especially before returning to their".
Where will the lessons take place?
The lesson will take place in Zoom and will last around 40 minutes.
So when to join?
- For students in grades 1-4 at 11:00. Registration here.
- For students in grades 5-11, the lesson will take place at 1 p.m. Registration here.
