"This amount can be safely added to the total calculation of Ukraine's losses due to the destruction of the country's infrastructure and other facilities by the Russian occupation forces," the General Staff said.
According to the NGO Association of Sappers of Ukraine, at least 82,525 km2 of Ukrainian territory is currently in need of a non-technical inspection for the presence of explosive devices and humanitarian demining.
The experts calculated the cost of demining based on the practical experience of previous years of humanitarian demining in Donbas.
The exact cost can be calculated after the end of hostilities.
