The European Commission and the Ukrainian government signed an agreement on Ukraine joining the EU4Health program.
The total budget of the program until 2027 is EUR 5.3 billion.
Ukrainian healthcare institutions will have access to financing on equal terms with EU member states.
The money will be used to finance the Ukrainian healthcare sector and its post-war reconstruction.
This was reported by Stella Kyriakides, the European Commissioner for Health and Food Safety:
