Poland has raised a million dollars for a Bayraktrar for the Ukrainian Armed Forces
As of July 3, Poles have already collected 4.3 million zlotys for "Bayraktar" for Ukraine (about 1 million dollars).
The organizer of the "Buy Ukraine Bayraktar movement, a well-known public figure, political scientist and journalist in Poland, Slawomir Sierakowski, expects to collect a total of 22.5 million zlotys (over $5 million) over the next 25 days, Censor.net reports.
On his Facebook page, Sierakovskii posts short videos from Ukrainian military units thanking the Polish people for their support and fundraising for the Polish Bayraktar.
Well-known Polish public figures, actors and journalists make their appeals to transfer money to the campaign on social networks.
The Polish mass media are actively involved in the action, filming reports about it and urging Poles to transfer funds for the purchase of Bayraktar.
But if less funds are collected, they will be transferred to the Armed Forces fund at the National Bank of Ukraine. This is also what will be done if more funds are collected.
