The EU is stepping up its support for Ukrainian humanitarian organizations
More than 15.7 million Ukrainians need humanitarian assistance due to the large-scale Russian war.
In four months, the EU has allocated 348 million euros for the humanitarian needs of Ukraine.
More than 7.6 million Ukrainians have already received assistance. Unfortunately, however, the war continues, so more and more people need protection, shelter and help.
That is why the EU is increasing direct support for Ukrainian humanitarian organizations, which work side by side with Ukrainians day and night, helping in times of need.
Thus, with the help of the EU, two warehouses were recently established in Vinnytsia and Dnipro, where humanitarian aid will be stored. They will be available to Ukrainian public organizations free of charge.
Throughout the EU's humanitarian initiative, it has supported 18 humanitarian organizations and delivered more than 750 tonnes of food, medicine, essentials and hygiene items, including to Kharkiv and Kramatorsk.
