Grant competition from the US Embassy for independent Ukrainian media

The US Embassy in Kyiv is announcing a grant competition for Ukrainian media and media organizations to support their work.
Many media outlets are on the verge of closure amid the cessation of advertising revenue, declining audiences and logistical problems caused by the Russian invasion.
Thanks to the funding that can be obtained by winning the grant «Ukraine: Ensuring the functioning of independent media during the war», the media will be able to resume work in wartime, develop and implement projects to raise professional standards, create quality and relevant content, or open media hubs for media outlets that require equipment.
The competition also aims to provide local audiences with quality media content and information that will help Ukrainian citizens survive, organize as communities, and come together to rebuild their cities and businesses.
The US Embassy will consider proposals from all regions of Ukraine.
However, priority will be given to media that remain, either relocated from areas previously occupied by Russian troops or temporarily occupied.
