Thousands of schools in Ukraine destroyed by Russian targeted fire, and /or robbed, many students and teachers were forced to leave their homes. But even in such conditions, the learning process continues, teachers conduct lessons online, sometimes joining classrooms directly from bomb shelters or even from the war front.
Recently, the Ministry of Education and Science together with the Ministry of Education and Science agreed on a partnership with Google for Education, which provides for the transfer of 43,000 Chromebooks for teachers to Ukraine. The Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov announced this in a telegram channel.
Such technical support will help teachers to effectively continue teaching online, so that children do not lose touch with their home school and teachers.
The project partner is UNESCO.
In addition, educators will be able to receive online training from Google, as well as free use of some features of Workspace for Education until the end of the year.
This will make the educational process more interesting and productive.
